Academics Plus is an education group focused on meeting each child’s unique learning needs through one-on-one, individualized instruction. Started as a small learning center in 2012, Academics Plus has served hundreds of children ages 4 and up by identifying their unique learning needs and tailoring instruction to build both cognitive and academic foundations. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that children are teachable, confident, life-long learners, ready to thrive in any academic setting.
In this time of unprecedented school closures and measures being taken, our team is uniquely prepared to support our community in the endeavor of at-home, online learning. We have operated homeschool and tutoring sessions online for nearly a decade and our team is equipped with the tools and experience to teach in this manner.
Our team gets to know each child and family in order to better understand their core values and the strengths and weaknesses of each child. Each child’s sessions are then fully customized with the best strategies and approaches to meet their specific needs. Our goal is to boost not only children’s academic skills, but the cognitive skills as well that play a vital role in learning such as working memory, processing speed, auditory processing, visual processing, etc. Our phenomenal network of Virtual Teachers truly has a passion for learning and helping children succeed. We have the capacity to teach across a wide variety of grade levels and subjects.
