Here’s what you can expect in sessions with Academics Plus:
Personalized Instruction
All sessions are one-on-one, allowing each instructor to build rapport with your child and learn their strengths and challenges. If your child has packet or online work from school, an Academics Plus teacher will walk through it, answering any questions and adding supplemental instruction. If your child does not have take-home schoolwork, our instructors will create a personalized learning plan.
Qualified Instructors
All of our instructors have advanced degrees in their fields, prior teaching experience, and most importantly, the ability to build confident students. We are also a fun bunch! We incorporate “brain breaks” and games into many of our sessions.
Weekly Progress Reports
At the end of each week, you will receive a progress report with detailed notes on your child’s progress and opportunities for growth.
Platform Flexibility
Our teachers are trained to use a variety of platforms, from Zoom to Skype. In cases where Internet connectivity is a challenge, old-fashioned phone communication works, too.
