Educational Therapist
Claire is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Georgia State University. Prior to beginning this program, Claire worked as an Elementary school teacher at Southmoor Elementary School in Denver, Colorado and The School of Arts and Sciences at The Centre in Tallahassee, Florida. She was honored by the Florida Department of Education through receipt of the Best & Brightest Teacher Scholarship in 2016. Claire is trained in Wilson Fundations, which provides research-based materials and strategies essential to a comprehensive reading, spelling, and handwriting program. Wilson Fundations makes learning to read fun while laying the groundwork for life-long literacy. Claire also has a vast amount of experience with Handwriting Without Tears and believes handwriting should be a focus even for the youngest learners.
Claire is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of 3/2/21.
