Shelley Wade holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University.
Shelley’s career in education spans over a decade with a vast array of experiences. Shelley has worked in the public and private sectors. She previously taught at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Brookhaven and held various roles through Cobb County Schools. She has also spent time in the preschool environment at Northside United Methodist Preschool.
Shelley has been trained in the Complete Reading Series through the Georgia Educational Training Agency, Handwriting Without Tears, as well as a variety of other curriculums, methods, and tools. Shelley is the mother of three children, two of which are students in the Dual Language Immersion program at Morris Brandon Elementary and one who attends Whitefield Academy.
