Dr. Heather Davis
Audiologist and Learning Specialist
Dr. Heather Davis is a Georgia native, born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education in Speech-Language Pathology at Valdosta State University in 1998 and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Audiology at The University of Tennessee in 2000. In August 2008, she earned a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University.
As a mother of a dyslexic child, Heather is truly inspired by children with learning differences. Over the past three years, she has expanded her knowledge of multi-sensory approaches for reading and learning success. She has completed the Orton-Gillingham Associate Level Class (60 hr) at The Schenck School. Heather is currently pursuing her Associate level AOGPE certification. She has also completed the Handwriting without Tears Print Workshop for K-2.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter and three dogs. She enjoys reading, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and travel.
Heather is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of 02/18/2021.
